Jury-Duty Spay and Neuter

Jury-Duty - a Voice for those that can’t speak

Jury-Duty Spay and Neuter, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable animal welfare organization registered with the IRS and State of Florida is committed to transforming Northwest Florida into no kill communities.

We have one mission; to provide access to spay and neuter for all animals, and we do this through our on-going, aggressive and highly publicized campaign to encourage  low-income pet owners to fix their pets and for care givers of free roaming and stray cats to enter our colony and sterilization program.

Our Founders Gregory and Cynthia Farrar are dedicated to eliminating and advocating for a non-lethal method to the pet overpopulation problem.  Jury-Duty is changing our community through education and collaboration, the Director also founded the Northwest Florida Animal Alliance (NWFAA) to further this objective.  Through this organization we brought together the local shelters, rescue groups, veterinarians, and private citizens to implement and coordinate lifesaving efforts to end the killing of healthy adoptable dogs and cats community wide.

We have prepared a blueprint for ending the pet overpopulation crisis and with the support of our community, including the government, the local veterinarians, and pet owners, our programs will eliminate pet overpopulation in our area and the euthanizing of healthy adoptable animals.

We believe that as a community we can accomplish this through our efforts and the compassion of our community. Together we will reduce the county's euthanasia rate.

The more educated the community becomes the more lives we will be able to save.

  • Encourage everyone to check with our local shelters and rescue groups prior to adopting a pet.
  • Distribute spay and neuter flyers and Information.
  • Talk to friends and neighbors with unaltered pets and tell them about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.

To eliminate homeless pets we need to involve the entire community in the solution. Spay or neuter is the only answer to solving our community's pet overpopulation problem.

Please take this opportunity to join us and become a voice for those that can’t speak and together we can spread our life saving message. Be part of the solution and help end pet overpopulation in our community! The success of our program depends entirely on the good will and assistance of the community.

Contact our office today at (850) 434-8904 or our hotline coordinator at (850) 438-FIXX if you want to be part of the solution.
